Plan pinning
Pin defects precisely on DWG, PDF or DXF plans. Drop the pin with one tap, zoom with the magnifier. Plans available offline.
Up to 57 % less rework per defect.
Capture construction defects directly on site - pin them on plans, attach photos, assign to subcontractors, track deadlines, sign off acceptance audit-proof. DOC.mobile Defect Management has been in use for more than 20 years - on high-rise and civil engineering projects, large infrastructure programmes and turnkey residential developments.
Construction defects are not the problem - the effort to manage them is. Whoever tracks defects on paper or in Excel loses hours transcribing, sorting and chasing reminders. DOC.mobile Defect Management bundles capture, assignment, deadline monitoring and sign-off into one workflow. Open the app, photograph the defect, drop a pin on the plan, pick the responsible subcontractor - done. The reminder system handles the rest. On a typical large project, our clients save up to 57 % of rework effort per defect - confirmed by studies in residential construction and large-scale transport infrastructure.
Whether you're dealing with snags during construction, acceptance defects or warranty defects: every record has a clear status, an owner, a deadline and an audit trail. Plans are imported as DWG, PDF, DXF or IFC, defects are pinned directly on the digital layout, photos are attached in full resolution at the defect position. The back office runs analytics on the web client: open defects per trade, average time-to-fix, overdue items, escalation needs.
From plan pinning to Excel export for the handover walk - DOC.mobile covers every step in the lifecycle of a construction defect. Here are the most important features for buildings, civil engineering and plant construction.

"From day one we had a fully functional system at our disposal - no onboarding delays. The recorded defects could be processed very efficiently thanks to the automatic assignment of photos. That is what distinguishes this system; in the past, doing it by hand was extremely tedious."
Translated from the German original."… the teams get along well with DOC.mobile and like using it. The functions for multiple defect notices (1, 2, …) and deadline-based operations have been well received. In particular, deadline tracking and the report engine work very well!"

Yes. Both can be captured in DOC.mobile as their own defect category and given a status, an owner, a deadline and an audit trail. You decide the legal classification - before or after formal acceptance - and the relevant deadlines yourself.
