Frequently asked questions about DOC.mobile
Do I need a separate app for each solution?
No. DOC.mobile is one app on iOS and Android - every solution you are licensed for appears as a choice at the project login. One app, many applications.
Does DOC.mobile work offline?
Yes. All captures are stored locally on the device and synchronised automatically as soon as the connection is back. Large plans can also be downloaded ahead of time.
Where is my data hosted?
By default in our ISO 27001-certified data centre in Germany. On request also on premises in your own data centre or as a private cloud.
Which interfaces are available?
A REST API for your own integrations, plus standard connectors to SAP, MS Project, BoQ software, BIM tools (IFC), DMS systems (SharePoint, M-Files) and common ERPs. When required we build the connector ourselves.
How quickly is a custom solution ready?
Based on one of our five standard solutions (defects, construction diary, photo, TDD, SiGeKo) - from 5 days. A fully tailor-made solution typically takes 4-8 weeks, training included.
Is DOC.mobile GDPR compliant?
